Zed,
Just a note to let you know what a great time we had with our lessons and surfing. I must say I was reluctant at first about the lessons (because I thought we knew enough) but you taught us so much in such a short time I just wish we would have had more days to practice. You know we are not going to be doing much practicing here in Oklahoma! We're looking forward to surfing with you on our next trip. Much luck to you and Bettina.

Thanks again!

Zed,
I had a great time learning to surf. You have an awesome program there. I wish that I could have had the time to go again. Next time.

Thank you,
Kenny
SURF WITH ZED-- you will have a great time and your surfing will totally improve!!! Zed is an incredible surfer, a great instructor and so much fun! He really knows how to teach surfing and keeps you motivated and laughing the whole time! Over the past year, I have taken lessons from other instructors, but Zed is by far the best, and my surfing improved the most when I was out with him. Some instructors push you into waves with their sole goal of getting you up on the board. Zed taught me about the fundamentals of surfing as well as how to read the waves. I was really psyched with my progress-- I was catching bigger and better waves on my own by the time our course was finished. It was such a terrific experience. I had so much fun and would highly recommend Zed's course to anyone.

Zed – Just got back and I am finding it hard to get off Barbados time. Work schmurk my friend; that was an awesome trip! Great surf, beautiful island, huge quiver of nice rental boards and a local showing me the best the place has to offer – what more could you ask for?! Thanks for being “the host with the most” and taking my wife and me around, seeing the sights and making us both feel right at home. From remote surfaris to giving beginner lessons to those of us in between, you offer the best of whatever someone could need while surfing Barbados.

I can’t wait to get back and check out some of the other spots you told me about. Give Jake our best and come see us when you can. Thanks again for everything.

Whether you plan to go to Barbados to Surf, to sightsee or to do other activities, Zed is your absolute best choice for a guide or Surf instructor. He is a likeable Barbadian who will defenitely make your trip memorable. His detailed instructions before we even got in the the water had me and my girlfriend standing up and surfing on our very first waves.

He showed us around and had me wanting to never leave the island again. Can't wait to make it back to Barbados.

Thanks again, Michael Stroll

Zed,
Thanks again for the fabulous surfing lessons! John and I had a great time! And, I'm so excited to say that I actually got up on a board!

Thanks again, and keep in touch.

Hi there,

I just got back from Barbados last Tuesday and thought I would drop you a line to thank you for putting me in contact with Zed's Surfing Adventures.

Zed is a sound bloke and his local knowledge was excellent - we avoided strong rips, sea urchins and all the other nasties that the other foreign surfers without a guide were experiencing. During our 4 days surfing I caught the best waves to be had and went to 3 different locations all with something different to offer.

I would recommend Zed to anyone contemplating surfing in Barbados, his local knowledge, expertise and wave knowledge has made my surfing holiday one to remember.

He also knows the best place for a fish supper on the island!!!

Cheers

Hi,
we just got back from two weeks surfing Barbados with Zed's Surfing Adventures. We wanted to write and say what a fantastic time we had.

It was an absolutely amazing experience- in ten days my surfing improved more than I had in the whole of last year- Zed took us to perfect quiet breaks every day- we surfed 4-6 hours every day (until we dropped!), zed ironed out all my bad habits (of the surfing variety!) and my confidence really grew from having someone there the whole time to push me into waves I wouldn't have paddled for at home, and I've come back with a much better understanding of reading the waves. Bonz really benefitted from having constant advise and feedback when practicing manoeuvres and from surfing with a more experienced surfer.

The company was great- zed is a complete laugh and the whole trip was really chilled out- when we couldn't surf any more Zed knew all the best lunch spots to chill out at.

To get perfect consistent surf in 26 degree water is just a dream, and zed really helped us get the most out of our trip by ensuring we were always at the best conditions (and the best for our ability-) some of the breaks we surfed were completely deserted, and we had constant feedback and advice on our surfing. What more can you want!

we are already booking our next trip with zed and would completely recommend Zed to anyone whatever their ability.

Zed:
Our time in Barbados is but a fond memory of a distantly warm place now - there is still snow on the ground and frost in the air here in Ottawa, but spring is not far away. The kids still think that their time spent learning to surf was the highlight of the trip (and so do I, by the way). I have attached a few photos as promised. The one of me in the curling hat should come with the caption: "Someone told me that waves curled. I must have misunderstood - but surfing is fun too!" My students are having a hard time believing that you could teach an old guy like me to surf (of course anyone over thirty is an old guy to them). Katie and Josh have taken to wearing surf gear here in Ottawa in the dead of winter (maybe I am an old guy - that just seems suicidal to me). They want, more than anything, to get back to Barbados - or anywhere else with waves so that they can demonstrate their newfound skills to their friends (all potential clients by now I'm sure - provided they find themselves in Barbados anytime soon).

Laura wishes she had had the time to learn to surf with her family - maybe next time. Thanks again for the great memories of a warm and playful sea.

Hi Zed:
I am back in the misery land of office work again, but still smiling because of the cool time I had learning to surf with you in sunny Barbados! I have not yet had the photos developed, but I have some great memories, and it is essentially down to the good care that you and Bettina showed to me. Learning to surf helped me chill out and I can't wait to get back in the water again soon.

I hope things are well with you and the business, it was also very interesting to learn about that, I am impressed by the activities you have going on, and I wish you all the best on that front. I hope to see your empire grow by the time I return!

Keep clean,
